Description
Breezy, soft, lightweight cotton scarves by Tamaki Niime of Japan. Since 2006 Tamaki Niime has been making textiles utilizing the traditional Japanese weaving technique called Bashu-ori. Previously dyed yarn is woven on slow vintage looms and later washed and dried in the sun. This traditional technique creates a uniquely inviting, soft and feathery feel with no two pieces being exactly the same. All the work is made in Nishiwaki, the "navel of Japan" and center of Banshu-ori practice. Made of gauzy 100% cotton. This is a smaller version of this scarf. Measures approx. 44"L and 19"W. An easy way to bring a little color and cheer to your wardrobe.
