For a jolt of cheer, we love these gauzy, and oh so soft scarves/shawls by Tamaki Niime of Japan. Since 2006 Tamaki Niime has been making textiles utilizing the traditional Japanese weaving technique called Bashu-ori. Previously dyed yarn is woven on slow vintage looms and later washed and dried in the sun. This traditional technique creates a uniquely inviting, soft and feathery feel with no two pieces being exactly the same. All the work is made in Nishiwaki, the "navel of Japan" and center of Banshu-ori practice. Made of gauzy, semi sheer 100% cotton. Measures approx. 70"L X 40"W. An easy way to bring a little color and cheer to your wardrobe and keep the chill off a cool evening in style. A shop favorite.
Color: multi- pinks, blues...
Made in Japan. One of a kind.
