Since 2006 Tamaki Niime has been making textiles utilizing the traditional Japanese weaving technique called Bashu-ori. Previously dyed yarn is woven on slow vintage looms and later washed and dried in the sun. This traditional technique creates a uniquely inviting, soft and feathery feel with no two pieces being exactly the same. All the work is made in Nishiwaki, the "navel of Japan" and center of Banshu-ori practice.Made of two ply 100% cotton. Measures approx. 54"L and 21"W. Wonderful for all season wear.
