Myoju

Myoju translates to bright pearl, and bright pearls are indeed the heart of this Japanese jewelry collection. It is a jewelry collection inspired by Lake Biwa, Japan's largest fresh water lake and original source of the authentic "Biwa" pearl. Not be confused with the mass production of imitators elsewhere in Asia, genuine Lake Biwa pearls, through a painstakingly process can take 3-6 years to grow from seed to harvest and are renowned for their luster and unique forms. Today, only 5 farmers remain in Lake Biwa, and adhere to strict sustainable practices and very limited harvest, to ensure the lake's health and beauty for future generations.  Each pearl is hand selected direct from the farmers to create these luminous pieces crafted in 18k gold and sterling silver in Japan.
