Nikki Couppee

Working out of her Oakland studio, Nikki Couppee creates humorous and sophisticated jewelry with humble materials like resin, plexiglass, rhinestones and faux pearls. Working in a detailed and labor intensive method found in fine jewelry, she creates exuberant  pop assemblages that we liken to wearing small pieces of art we can wear. Couppee received an MFA in jewelry/metals and besides teaching, shows her work mostly through gallery representation and group exhibitions.
